Ottawa Ordnance moves to former Harley Davidson building

The former Harley Davidson business in Ottawa has a new occupant. Ottawa Ordnance, a gun supply business, has relocated to the building at 247 w. Fourth Street, Ottawa. 

"We ran out of space at our former location," said owner Darrin Verhoff. An official opening was held Saturday with members of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce joining Verhoff, his family and employees for a ribbon cutting. 

The store was busy Saturday as area residents came out to help Verhoff celebrate the grand opening of new store. A variety of firearms factory rep's were on site along with a a professional carver doing hand carved stocks. 

The business stocks mostly firearms and accessories. They also have provide full-time gun smithing and do laser engraving. 

"If we don't have products now that you are looking for there's a good chance we will in the future," said Nancy Verhoff, co-owner with her husband Darrin. "We work with a lot of different gun dealers and order different supplies throughout the year." She said because of ordering early in the year they are able to get hard-to-get gun supplies.

The oak chests are framed with solid oak with oak veneered panels. The cherry and espresso toy chests are made from solid birch wood. Each toy chest is packed securely so that it remains safe during the shipping process and arrives ready to assemble by the customer. Assembling the toy chest only requires about 20 minutes.
