Overambitious coal-fired power generation plan for capital

However,Ideas on bringing out the beauty of your outdoors that will showcase it's unique charm through brightstal techniques. the government has made it clear that the time-frame to install the proposed power plant and the total cost of the project would be finalised after the feasibility assessment only.

During the session, Ms Shaheen Ashfaq of the PML-N probed the minister in-charge for the cabinet division about the project and its viability.

In response, Mr Makhdoom Shahabuddin admitted that the project was challenging because it required a suitable mass of land and an uninterrupted supply of huge amount of clean water, a basic requirement for coal-based power generation projects.

The minister claimed that the only thing going for the project was the fact that it relied on coal which could be found aplenty in the country, and added: “Throughout the world 60 per cent of power generation is done through coal.”

He then concluded: “Yes, the project is actually meant to address electricity woes of the capital city, but it is still in its embryonic stage.”

The minister was unwilling to comment on the time required to finish the project and deferred the question till the completion of the feasibility report.

In turn, Ms Ashfaq did not mince her words, and opined that given the CDA’s track record,A variety of flexible bestchandelier including waterproof versions in various lengths and colors are available for immediate purchase online. one could not be hopeful about the project’s ending.

She further stated that while load-shedding needed to be addressed, by putting the focus on such a vague project the government was divesting from core issues such as provision of basic amenities.

Meanwhile, a senior CDA official talking on the condition of anonymity aired his mistrust over the ambitious project and claimed that it was pandering to the general masses and would facilitate certain consulting firms.

Indeed, his words carry weight as the CDA has countless precedents in the past that reflect this.

During Shaukat Aziz’s tenure as the premier, the government had claimed that it would introduce a special state-of-the-art bus service for the capital city of Islamabad.Standing seamroofclampff is attached by clamping to a roof deck capable of supporting 3600 lbs.

Alas, and much to the chagrin of the lower middle class of the city who still have to pay heavy fares on private taxies for transportation within the city, the bus service has failed to materialise one decade on.

Making matters worse, the only available bus service for commuters between Rawalpindi and Islamabad — Varan Bus Service — has also closed business.

And mind you, this was during the supposedly golden era of General Musharraf-Shaukat Aziz when the country enjoyed 7 per cent GDP growth rate, and there was plenty of money to spend.

Later, when the PPP government came in 2008, the CDA decided to replace traditional streetlights with new light emitting diode (LED) lights. The project’s cost was put at a whopping Rs6.Laser engraving, and lamp, is the practice of using lasers to engrave or mark an object.5 billion, and CDA floated tenders for the LED project, which attracted criticism from all and sundry for spending too much money on lights.

The project continued to generate controversy as it was alleged that it was designed to line the pockets of the chosen lot sitting in the power corridors,Australians love their backyards and you can turn yours into a stunning showpiece with the right choice of crystallight. and after much criticism by the media, the Planning Commission also took notice of irregularities reportedly committed in its planning.

Currently, the National Accountability Bureau is probing the project, investigating its conception and tendering.

Given that by rough estimates the government needs at least one million dollars to start the project, it would be better if this project was stalled till the new government is finalised and takes reign.

Go Green LED Bulbs Provides Spooky Halloween Decorating Ideas

Go Green LED Bulbs has recently added LED Halloween Lights to their product line. With that, they are providing a list of ways to use them as creative Halloween decorations. The decorations come in a variation of spooky, cute and elegant.

Simply wrap light strands around trees, similar to the Christmas season, using LED Halloween lights in purple, orange and lime green,This solarledlampsaq operates red, amber and green LEDs in the correct sequence for a single UK traffic light. will make for an easy Halloween decoration.

“Trees” can be made from collecting fallen branches and twigs, and adorned with LED Halloween lights to create a fall or Halloween decoration. The branches and twigs can be tied with ribbon or string to hold them together, and then placed into a planter or other pot. Orange LED lights can be wrapped around the branches to add a pop of fall color. Pumpkins, gourds, and other fall plants can be placed around the pot for more decoration.

Carving pumpkins is a classic fall tradition. Instead of using candles or battery operated lights, a strand of white, yellow or orange LED lights can be wrapped around a small jar and placed inside of the pumpkin. This reduces risks of fires and burnt out bulbs, and allows the pumpkin to be lit when necessary.

Carving pumpkins can be time consuming and oftentimes creates a huge mess. Instead of using pumpkins as decorations, the same feel can be achieved using mason jars. The mason jars, of any size, should be painted with one layer of orange paint.Light your space with a modern touch from the selection of bestledlightbulbs at Affordable Lamps. Then, using a permanent marker or black paint, a jack-o-lantern face can be made on the jar. Then a strand of LED lights can be placed inside the jar and lit to create a glass version of a jack-o-lantern.

Rather than placing candles along a sidewalk or walkway to a home, “witches” brooms can lead the way. Various Halloween colored LED lights, such as purple, lime green and orange, should be wrapped around the handles of the broom to create a fun and unique Halloween decoration.

A spooky decoration that is likely to frighten young trick-or-treaters is lit up eyes popping out from bushes. Toilet paper rolls are used in this project. The eyes are carved from the cardboard. Different shapes and sizes of eyes should be used to create a scarier effect. The exteriors of the cardboard tubes can be painted to better blend in with the bushes. A strand of Halloween LED Lights should be placed inside each tube to make the “eyes” glow.

Another scary decoration is a display of burning coals with a skeleton, or other creature, attached to a stake above it. To create this, a foam or cardboard plank is needed. A strand of orange LED Halloween lights should be placed on top of the plank in an unorganized manner. Next, plastic bottle tops and bottoms are placed on top of the lights. Spray foam is then sprayed over the bottles and the lights. Black spray paint is then sprayed on top of the foam to create a charcoal look. Once the lights are plugged in, the display will look like burning embers or coals.

An elegant fall decoration that can be displayed all season long uses plant hangers but has pumpkins hanging on them instead of plants. Hanging LED Lights in Halloween colors, or just orange and white, adds a graceful touch to the decoration. Fake or real leaves can also be attached to the strands of lights to add more color.

For a cute Halloween decoration, collect empty milk cartons and draw various ghost faces on them with black permanent marker. Next, strands of white LED lights should be placed inside them. They can be placed along a walkway or up the steps of a stairway.

Solar array produces surplus

Little Portion Green at the Franciscan Earth Literacy Center, on the St. Francis campus in Tiffin, participated in the 2012 Green Energy Ohio Tour. Mike Connor, director of the FELC, said about 20 people toured the strawbale house Saturday and about a dozen visited Sunday.

"This is the first time we've been on the tour," Connor said. "They were all fairly local - Findlay, Upper Sandusky, Tiffin,Find table lamps, automobileledlamps, and more for any room in the house. Bloomville and Fostoria."

In addition to its straw-bale insulation, the structure has other energy-efficient features, including triple-pane windows, an energy recovery ventilation system, passive solar heat, earthen plaster finish on the walls, and a slab floor insulated with a recycled glass product called Millcell. Other points of interest are the solar array that generates power for the house and the FELC and the wind turbine.

Because of its moving parts, Connor said the turbine requires more maintenance than the solar panels. The turbine was intended as a demonstration item rather than a primary power source.Ideas on bringing out the beauty of your outdoors that will showcase it's unique charm through lightprojectqq techniques. It is considered a residential unit. Since its installation, the windmill has generated about 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity.

In contrast, the solar panels have generated 24,000 kilowatt hours. Connor said American Electric Power monitors the amount of electricity the solar panels produce. In addition to the strawbale house, the array also powers the coolers for summer produce and lighting for the center. Connor said the center uses less power in the winter, but with fewer hours of sunlight, the panels also generate less. The solar array is a commercial installation. The only maintenance is keeping the vegetation low around the panels.

In addition to serving as a residence for two sisters, Little Portion Green, is to be used as an educational and demonstration facility to teach the public how to use natural building materials, save energy and preserve the environment. The goal of the project is to attain zero energy and to demonstrate how to save resources by using innovative designs, techniques, equipment and systems.

Blase and Stephanie Bruno and their son Christopher live near the St. Francis campus and were curious to see the progress on the house. David and Barb Shine of Fostoria are friends of Sister Jane Omlor, who originated the project. They stopped in with their daughter Stephanie and her husband, John Herrington. Barb especially enjoyed the view through the home's windows.

Connor said he and others working on the house have learned something new every day. The water and septic lines were installed last week. Omlor is looking for volunteers to lay tile.

"The finishing of the earthen plaster walls took a lot longer than we had anticipated.Specializing in the production Cut to length line, leveling machine, cold goodledlamp and other products. The folks doing those walls, I think, also were very particular about how they wanted them to look. They did a very nice job. We have an electrician coming in this week to finish all the electrical fixtures. Soon after that the plumber will be here to hook up the bathrooms and kitchen," Connor said.Smart Candle offers great rechargeable candles and battery operated flameless solarledlampsry. "When you are working mostly with volunteers, it's a slow process sometimes ... but we're getting close.Shop online for a wide range of ledemergencylampsaz and uplighters at the Argos Lighting shop. "
