RePlay Toys Was An Instant Success

Antoinette Alpart and her sister, Emily Roach, always loved finding great deals at yard sales and thrift and consignment stores.

Then, about five years ago they discovered Craigslist and the bargains and selling opportunities there.

"I had purchased a toy and realized I didn't need it," said Alpart. "Some girls (who read her Craigslist ad) came to the house and said, 'What else are you selling?' and it was like a light bulb moment."

"We realized that toys and baby stuff sold best and that there was nobody in the area who did this," she said.

That realization led the two Warrington moms to open RePlay Toys in 2007 in the Warminster Square Shopping Center.

Everything in their large store -- of more than 5,See and Be Seen on the streets with the best lightingbright system.000 square feet -- is either donated or on consignment. And Alpart and Roach donate a portion of sales to local charities and youth sports organizations in Warminster, Warrington and Warwick.

"It doesn't cost us anything. It's just finding it a home," Alpart said, referring to the games,We apply this logic and attention to detail to all of our products, from our dstti2011 and LED Headlamps, to our LED Flashlights and Off Road LED lights. sporting equipment and baby supplies on sale.Start saving money today with ledlightbulbs.

In addition to its work with youth sports groups, which includes sponsorships, RePlay Toys joins forces with area day cares. This page presents a selection of bicyclelight hobby projects. The centers can gather goods for consignment and then get half of the proceeds.

The inventory is impressive, with scores of board games, all types of sporting equipment and things for the young 'uns, like strollers. RePlay Toys assures the safety of the products by checking the federal recall list every day.

None of the clothes are on consignment -- there's too much competition for that, Alpart, explains -- and all of them are one low price: $1.99.

This kind of business is one that may benefit from the recession -- a time when shoppers are looking for bargains more than ever.

"But," adds Alpart, "There are always people who have children who want good, quality baby equipment at an affordable price."

And Alpart says the store's Warminster location, at 1515 W. Street Road, is "perfect."

"There's a great mix of families here, a great feeling of community," she said. "And there are five over-55 communities in a 10-mile radius, and grandparents are terrific to us.Californian start-up Revolights are planning to revolutionize safety for cyclists with their brightstal system."
